The Challenge

A great music school hiding on page three

Bucks County School of Music in Doylestown had the hard part figured out: talented teachers, a full slate of programs, and families who loved the school. Online, it was a different story. The old website looked dated, wasn't built around the lessons parents were searching for, and gave Google very little to work with.

In July 2025, the site's average Google rank was 30. That's page three, where almost no parent ever looks. The school's lesson pages showed up in only about 4,200 searches a quarter.

What We Did
01

Rebuilt the website

A modern, mobile-friendly site with clear pages for piano, voice, guitar, ukulele and songwriting, plus teacher bios and a simple path to enroll. More on our music school web design.

02

Built pages for nearby towns

Service-area pages for Warminster, Warrington and Chalfont, each with its own lesson pages, so families in neighboring towns could find the school without it pretending to have offices there.

03

Paired local SEO with Google Ads

Local SEO built rankings that last, while a tightly targeted Google Ads campaign, split by instrument, kept lesson inquiries coming in during the climb.

The Result

Page one for the searches that matter in Doylestown

Comparing July to September 2025 with the same months in 2026, visitors from Google search grew from 663 to 2,702, about 4x. Search impressions grew about 7x, from roughly 17,400 to 124,600, and the school's lesson pages went from about 4,200 impressions a quarter to more than 60,000.

The school now ranks on page one for searches like “piano lessons Doylestown” and “voice lessons near me,” and its average Google rank across all searches improved from 30 to 7.4.

Most importantly, the new traffic turned into students: monthly lesson sign-ups doubled.
